Experience the thrill of a snorkeling excursion in the Ionian Sea, departing from the Port of Roccella Jonica. The Calabrian seabed is rich with various shipwrecks, such as the Marineta and the Capitan Antonio. Both wrecks are in shallow waters, easily admired while snorkeling from the surface with just a mask, snorkel, and fins. The first lies on a sandy bottom between 2 and 9 meters deep just off the coast of Guardavalle, while the second is the wreck of an Italian merchant ship sunk off the coast of Santa Caterina dello Jonio, between 4 and 12 meters deep.
