If you want to do a healthy, environmentally friendly, relaxing activity, suitable for all ages, to be played outdoors, being in contact with nature and sea, that allows you to travel in Italy and abroad searching for new destinations and to meet new people as passionate as you, this is the perfect experience for you!
Course location – Megale Hellas Diving Center, on the promenade of Marina di Gioiosa Ionica (RC).
What you’ll learn – You’ll learn important theorical notions about the diving equipment and its use, the rules you have to respect while diving, the underwater signals to communicate and some safety procedures. You’ll find out more about the fascinating marine environment and some of its inhabitants.
Course organization – 3 theorical lessons, 3 training dives in confined water (max 5m) and 2 training dives in open water, always with your instructor.
The theorical sessions can be done with the instructor even on-line before the practical training. The diving’s calendar can be arranged with the participant, even in full day format.
Abilitation – International certificate “Scuba Diver”, that enables you to dive within 12 m, for minors up to 15 years, “Scuba Diver Junior”, that enables diving within 12 m of depth, in pairs with a Dive Professional.
Minimum age to join – 10 years.
Requirements – No specific requirements needed, only a discrete swimming ability, love for the sea and the desire to explore a new world!
Documentation – Parental approval for minors / Medical certificate for non-agonistic sport activity (for scuba diving).
The training dives in the sea will depend on the good sea-weather conditions.
