– Theorical lesson “Try Scuba”
We’ll teach you fundamental theorical notions about the diving equipment and its use, the rules to respect while diving, the diving signals and about the sea environment in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica we are going to see.
Particular mention about the seahorses, endangered species present with a permanent colony in the local sea bottom.
– Preparation of diving equipment and diving experience in shallow water (max 5 m), in front of the Megale Hellas Diving Center, entering from the shore.
The activities under the sea will be conducted according to the SSI (Scuba Schools International) and ISDA (International Scuba Diving Academy) standards, in confined waters, up to a maximum depth of 5 meters, with certified instructors and with an instructor-student ratio of maximum 1:2 (1 instructor, 2 students).
No special motor skills or medical certificate required.
The “Try Scuba” is a simple diving experience that allows those who are not yet divers to discover the submerged world in a simple, fun and safe way.
The activity is for adults and kids from 8 years old upwards (for minors the parent consent is needed).
– End of the activity. Delivering of photo and video of the diving experience!
The execution of the activity will depend on the good sea-weather conditions.
